Ive heard that anet isint making any new A/Rit skills in nightfall...If this goes on the core classes will be much stronger then any of the "special" classes.

Is this true?

I'd say yes at the moment. They have two new classes to implement and will probably come back to assasins and ritualists at a later date when anets long list of class ideas is exhausted.

This part, on the other hand, I'd say is NOT true. The core classes will have a greater variety of skills to choose from but, due to balancing, the extra skills will not be better than the others. No one class is better than any other and no one class ever will be.

Even if its not, it makes sense. Each class is unique to its area that is a special class, so why would they find other skills in a place that has never seen thier profession before?
